Alike But Different
When my parents were my age they had little to no fun. They had very strict lives. My mom had to work hard to help out with the family, and my dad's parents were strict beyond strict. My mom was a good kid and behaved as she was expected. She was and always has been the very outgoing, says what she thinks, and is in no way shy type of person. She is hard headed, stubborn, and always thinks she is right, that is one thing that still hasn't changed. My dad was good for the most part, but he was a little rebellious. He is more of the quiet type, listens to people and talks when he has to, but when he does talk he gives you everything he thinks. He is pretty stubborn and hard headed, too. I'm a little like them both. I behave as expected and do what I'm told, but I can be a little rebellious at times. I'm quiet until I get to know you then I talk to you. I listen like my dad does, and talk like my mom does. I'm totally different from them both, but a lot alike them in some ways.

Dream Room?
My dream room would have to be something along the lines of this. I would like a heated pool and a huge bed with a flat screen T.V. I really just want the room to be huge and relaxing, but with a wild side, too. It will have wood floors and and couple of couches to relax on. It will have this thing where if you hit a button the top of the room will open so the sun or night can shine in. So whether you want to take a night swim or a lazy day to float around the pool you can. Then you can go straight to the shower and go to bed without even walking that far. That in my way of thinking couldn't get any better.

News?
People used to always tell young adults to use birth control, but now doctors are saying that people should not? A few days ago I ran across a site on the news that was talking about this. They said that the pill makes women more attracted to men with lower testosterone levels. Then after the couple get married they have more problems in life once the woman gets off of the pill. Henceforth, creating more problems in the marriage later on, and some even leading to divorce. I thought this was interesting because in these days a lot of kids do things they shouldn't, and everyone always tells young people to be as careful as they can. So if they are now saying this what do they think is going to happen? I understand the fact of what they are saying, but maybe they should rethink things or try to create a new pill for people. Shouldn't people be safe as they could be?

Favorite Song, Movie, and Book
My favorite book would have to be Inheritance by Christopher Paolini. I like this book for many reasons such as the depth of emotions that run through the book. It is very captivating.
My favorite song is I Still Miss you by Keith Anderson. I like this song because it just fits a lot of people and it's a really sweet song.
My favorite movie is "Like Mike." I like this movie because the guy that plays Tracy is really cute, and it has a really sweet ending.

Dear Mr. Man That Can Make It Happen!(:
Dear Principal Ashmore,
As Mrs. Waters may have mentioned many of us, students, would like to go see the new Hunger Games movie. I agree that we should. Many students that hardly ever pick up a book finished the book before we were assigned to in class. Students were seen reading this book throughout the school and at basketball games. Some are on the waiting list or were for the second book of the Hunger Games Series. For so many students to read this book when hardly anyone reads in these times, is something I think should be rewarded! Their is a probably a couple of things that come to your mind, like a money problem. I bet, though, that everyone would be willing to pay their own way to go see this movie since a lot of us want to see it! I think I speak for many when I say most of this school really wants to see this movie so we would really appreciate it if you would allow us to go. Thank you for your time and I appreciate you even considering the possibility of letting us go.
Yours Truly,
Brandi L. Ferguson

If I Wasn't Sick It Would Almost Be Paradise

I woke up feeling terrible. My head was throbbing, I swear I could hear the sound of mouse walking if their was one.
I was at home sick. I hated being sick. The only good thing about it is that my mom treats me like I'm the most precious thing in the world. Every time I ask for something she would get it. So while me and my dog lay on the couch reading a book or just sleeping my mom will do anything I ask. Usually I ask for her to make me some soup and to do a couple other things that I feel at that moment that I just have to have. I swear, if I wasn't sick it would be paradise.

Shh, It's A Secret..
Everyone has a secrets in their life. The only thing is can you keep it hidden or do you trust someone enough to let them in your life?
Secrets, the number one thing in life that can destroy trust. That's the thing about life, you never know what is going to happen. When you trust someone and let them in your life, and then they do something you never expect. They either become true friends or fake people. Everyone has secrets in life, but most of the time they never share them. Sometimes though a person just wants to get stuff off their chest, so who do you think they turn to? Their friends. Now, the thing about these days, is you never know who is true or who is fake. So when you tell someone something you always wonder if they are going to keep it or not. Its a big slap in the face when someone you thought was always their for you and you could trust turns out to be someone totally different. Your crushed when that happens, and nothing really seems right. It's not cause of anything about you. It's because you let that person in your life and you trusted them. They just couldn't keep a secret.
